Link: Guide to the Mind is a publication that focuses on the flaws of the brain, covering topics like blind spots and the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon. The human brain has the tendency to find meaningful patterns in meaningless noise. Design Goals:
I picked Dow Chemicals because of its bad reputation to show in a new point of view. In a rapidly urbanizing world, the provision of affordable house is important. House building is one of the largest energy-consumers in the world, over one-third of total final energy consumption and is an important source of CO2 emissions. After much research, I found that Dow has developed some cost-effective options for housing that uses less resources which cuts consumption and emission. To make the information more exciting, I chose to design in a whimsical way.
